Music + Memories
Hey, readers!
You know one thing Christmas can't be complete without?
Yes, the decorations are spectacular. In fact, as I write this, we are decorating the house for Christmas. It's beautiful. The traditions are amazing. And the food...it's just wonderful!
But...you always need music.
Always.
You know, songs really bring people together. Almost everyone listens to some form of music.
In fact, there was music at the very first Christmas.
Luke 2:13-14 (ESV)
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom He is pleased!"
Songs are special. They're meaningful. So, this Christmas season, turn on some music and listen to the words. You might be surprised at how so many of the songs convey power and truth!
Here are five of my favorite Christmas songs to listen to!
*Please note that I am not endorsing any of these artists or their music.
- "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" by Skillet
- "lowest of lows" by Josiah Queen
- "The Manger" by Anne Wilson
- "The Joy / Joy to the World" by The Belonging Co.
- "His Name Will Be" by River Valley Worship
