Want to Learn More About TBF?
Hello, friends!
If you've been reading my newsletter (or other forms of my writing) for very long, you've probably heard me mention my current writing project, the Trials by Fire Trilogy!
In this newsletter post, I'm going to give you the summary of my series so that you will no longer be confused about all of the odd phrases I use in my emails! (i.e., how in Bellator do you not know what TBF is??) š
So...anyways...
Back to what I was talking about. Trials by Fire is the name of the three-book young adult fantasy-allegory series that I am working on writing! (Click here for my most recent update!) I'm currently in the middle of the second draft of the first book, Secret of the Sword. Here is a "back cover" style blurb of SotS!
Princes are born.
But heroes are made.
The days of Septune Fortisonās early life were filled with clashing swords, flying arrows, and mysterious messages about a war that he couldnāt quite find his place in.The apathy doesnāt last long, though, because he is thrust into reality when the king of Bellator entrusts to him the most powerful weapon in all of the realmsāthe legendary Flameblade. The sword is as much dangerous as it is priceless, however, and Septune is pressured into abandoning it out of fear of misusing its power. But when an unexpected turn of events occurs, Septune must journey outside of his home realm in order to save the sword. Along the way he meets Camellia, a fiery young girl who is hiding secrets of her own, along with a dragon who might just turn out to be Septuneās worst enemy.
Will the fire of the Sword break through the darkness before itās too late?
It's been a lot of fun working on Secret of the Sword!! I love creating stories that bring light into the darkness!
When you signed up for this newsletter, I sent you a welcome email with a very special link in it. Remember that?
Last year, I wrote a shorter-than-novel-length-yet-still-pretty-long story involving some of the minor characters from Trials by Fire (aka TBF)! The title of it is Called, and I've made it available for all of my subscribers to read!
That's all I have for you this week. Stay tuned for more Christmas-themed fun next time!
For His Glory,
